Celebrations as Chile votes by huge majority to scrap Pinochet-era constitution

Chile has voted overwhelmingly in favor of rewriting the the country’s constitution to replace guiding principles imposed four decades ago under the military dictatorship of General Augusto Pinochet.

Interesting how the nay sayers are so ingrained in their predatory capitalist vision that they assume the only other option is full on communism, nevermind the whole spectrum of possibilities between what Chile has and that.

In a few months they will be regretting this celebration
