Cat Deeley's River Island trousers are ultimate alternative to skinny jeans

Although some may think that skinny jeans are now 'out', Cat Deeley is continuing to champion the once widely-popular denim style.

Earlier this week, the mother-of-two appeared on ITV daytime show This Morning wearing a pair of River Island Gold High Rise Slim Straight Fit Jeans, priced at £65. Metallic jeans were a big hit over Christmas, with Frankie Bridge donning a silver pair from Bershka - and this champagne-toned pair could be the ideal way to carry the trend into the spring and summer months.

The jeans come in a high-waisted design that flatters the figure, made from Comfort Stretch denim. Initially snug, they promise increased comfort with wear.
