The 68-year-old This Is Us alum recalled to Page Six on Saturday: 'I was doing her a favor. She had a boyfriend and she didn't want him to know she was a virgin and she trusted me and gave me the honor' At age 13, Dunne's mother brought him to his famous aunt Joan Didion's Los Angeles home for a party in honor of Tom Wolfe's The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, which was attended by Janis Joplin.
The Independent Spirit Award winner kicks off his book tour June 12 at the Rare Book Room at The Strand in his native New York City followed by a reading June 15 at Oblong Books in Rhinebeck, NY.
