Car thieves in Britain are dressing up in high-visibility clothing and towing vehicles from driveways or roads using trucks in broad daylight, experts warned today.

In one recent incident on February 22, two thieves stole machinery from a truck in Bowes Park, North London, before loading it into the back of their car and driving off.
Footage showed a silver people carrier parked on a residential street before a truck with a trailer came into view and could be seen coming to a halt right in front of the car's bonnet.
