Emergency services raced to the scene at Elder Park on Langlands Road in Govan at 3.15pm.Pictures taken at the height of the blaze show thick black smoke belch from the vehicle as firefighters battled to bring it under control.
A police spokesman said: “We were made aware of a vehicle on fire after colliding with a pedestrian and railings at Elder Park, Langlands Road in Glasgow around 3.15pm on Saturday, December 24.
