BBCBreakfast Good for him. But now a George Cross for Roy Larner, please.

BBCBreakfast Well deserved, inspirational and a reflection of what we can achieve if we all look after each other!

BBCBreakfast Well done for doing the charity walk but.....So many ppl spend a Life time helping others and raising money and awareness to help ppl in around the world and they go unrecognised! I feel he has been used to deflect a poor pandemic handling by the government.

BBCWorld BBCBreakfast Wonderful man as were all his comrads...

BBCBreakfast So preposterous. A lovely gesture by the fella but the fundraising was as a result of a big push in the public sphere by people interested in generating a good feel story. A knighthood for this shows how valueless the whole thing is.

BBCWorld BBCBreakfast A deserving recipient. All soldiers are hero's and deserve a knighthood. Sorry celebs, just paying a lot of tax isn't really deserving.

BBCWorld BBCBreakfast This is a clever plot by government and media to shift attention. I am not undermining his effort.

BBCWorld BBCBreakfast With love, from Canada

MikeCarlton01 BBCBreakfast Wonderful ❣️

BBCWorld BBCBreakfast Something great to read sirtom

BBCWorld BBCBreakfast It's not how long you live but what you leave behind matters most in human life. Paid off well!

bbclaurak BBCBreakfast Well deserved for a truly amazing and lovely gentleman ☘☘

BBCBreakfast Congratulation Sir and for once it's nice to say Sir to someone who deserves it unlike most.

BBCBreakfast Well done Sir Tom

BBCWorld BBCBreakfast This is a PLANNED EVENT people, exposed some years ago and now coming to fruition. Police State Contagion: US Plan to Use Bioweapons to Impose Martial Law One Quarantine at a Time (2014)

BBCBreakfast Wonderful that Johnson has paid attention to the efforts of a truly inspiring man, shame that 22, 000 other elderly people were abandon by Johnson & co.

bbclaurak BBCBreakfast Another pointless gong, to help the establishment soothe their conscience having starved the NHS of finance. The sycophantic royalists lap this up.

BBCBreakfast Captain Tom a truly inspiring man and a welcome distraction from the incompetence and lies of our 'leaders'.

BBCBreakfast There was a serving soldier featured a few days ago who was being chased for £27,000 for medical care by the NHS . Perhaps they can find it in their heart to divert some of this windfall to write off that debt.

bbclaurak BBCBreakfast The only thing Boris has done in the last week

BBCBreakfast Such a wonderful human being. You've more than earned this great honour Capt. Sir Thomas Moore.

bbclaurak BBCBreakfast Just fantastic and we’ll deserved. He symbolises what is great about this nation. 🙌👏

BBCWorld BBCBreakfast Well deserved Sir.

BBCBreakfast Should that not be Colonel Sir Thomas Moore BBCBreakfast Let’s not forget the honours already bestowed upon this fantastic man who is an example to us all

BBCWorld BBCBreakfast Hope Sir Thomas can enjoy his well deserved knighthood for at least 10 more years!!👍👍🙏🙏

Mike_Fabricant BBCBreakfast He’s an Honorary Colonel actually do keep up BBC. 🙄

BBCWorld BBCBreakfast Ah. Now one gets it.

BBCBreakfast Well deserved .It puts into perspective the people who get a knighthood for giving a lump of money to the tory party and nothing else. So sad he's being used for political reasons.

bbclaurak BBCBreakfast The power of social media..

BBCWorld BBCBreakfast

BBCBreakfast Arise Sir Tom!

bbclaurak BBCBreakfast And awarded on the eve of damning reports as to how this govt purposely left, or returned, the old and vulnerable to care homes to die so as to keep the curve down. His knighthood is a distraction as the govt continue to use and abuse this gentleman’s genuine intentions.

looknorthBBC BBCBreakfast Well done Captain Tom. Wish I could do something as rewarding as this in my lifetime.

BBCBreakfast Thank you BBC, a lovely interview and thankyou sir Tom for being positive, encouraging and up lifting. Dan walker is so lovely with war veterans, great empathy

BBCBreakfast captaintommoore 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💖

BBCBreakfast BBC typically resorts to a side show in the middle of a catastrophe, money raised is a piss in the ocean, NHS needs billions of public money, we should be pleased to support it in our taxes

BBCBreakfast How about knighthoods for NHS staff?

BBCBreakfast The only reason the total raised was so high was because of Covid-19. If that wasn't happening would be have got a Knighthood for walking around his garden?

BBCWorld BBCBreakfast 👍

BBCPolitics BBCBreakfast Delightful man used cynically by an appalling prime minister responsible for thousands of deaths

BBCBreakfast Nice to think that a knighthood as gone to someone who as done something rather then a overpaid and pampered so-called celebs there are a lot of good people about and they get ignored

MikeCarlton01 BBCBreakfast What a darling man

MikeCarlton01 BBCBreakfast Dead cat

BBCBreakfast Was there any need this was on BBC breakfast for almost half an hour?

BBCBreakfast There are so many other people that deserve a knighthood or have missed out on knighthoods that have given, achieved so much. This crook walking round his garden gets a knighthood. THE NATION and We raised the money. Not him. He was a publicity tag! SirTomMoore FRAUDULENT

BBCBreakfast Surely the honours system was meant for people such as this. No one could deny that this is totally justified. Well done and congratulations to Captain Sir Tom !

BBCLookEast BBCBreakfast That's 'Colonel Sir Thomas Moore' to you...

BBCBreakfast We are lucky to have him. Humble, polite and full of so many other traits that are severely lacking these days.

BBCBreakfast Truly deserving of it. A great decision by the Prime Minister.

BBCBreakfast Well done sir Tom. I can't get enough of you. What an inspiration to the whole of our world.

BBCBreakfast So touching! and so much to learn from him. 🙏

BBCBreakfast 100% deserved. What an example this man is. Courage and humility are excellent bedfellows and often the mark of greatness. So pleased for captaintommoore and his family. The Nation should be very proud of him.
