I thought it was largely unnecessary before I got one but having macros that do multiple things in obs with timers/delays etc has been a godsend. Auto set up predictions. Mute discord. Shortcuts for premiere pro. How about we just let people buy what they want to buy? 🤣 honestly my content changed a lot once I figured out the full capabilities of my stream deck Ya, I'm just using a $75 midi controller with free Midi Mixer software/OBS Plug-in... Stream Deck is a total waste of money... I can switch between all of my scenes, control volumes, and everything else I need.
