Hertfordshire County Council is set to sell a former care home in Bushey with an estimated value of £675,000.
HCC decided to sell the property in Bournehall Avenue earlier this month and it was initially listed for at auction with the guide price before it was withdrawn from the sale in advance.Block of 89 flats to be built in town centre car park after appeal win According to the county council, the property had been used as a care home for people with learning disabilities and mental health issues between 2015 and 2023, under the management of Catalyst Housing Association.No further use for the property – which is said to require considerable updating – had been identified for council services.
