A bus driver was hit with a beer can and kicked on the floor by a passenger to attempted to board without wearing a face mask.
Dorset Police said the force is investigating after the attack, which happened in Charminster Road, Bournemouth at around 4pm on Wednesday.He became verbally aggressive when the driver refused to let him on, then forced his way onto the vehicle.When the driver went to remove the man, he hit him to the head with a beer can and pushed him to the floor.
I hope the low-life coward is caught, named & shamed, made to pay compensation to the driver, then given a hefty prison sentence. Unbelievable & yet more evidence of law & order breaking down. They need 2 bring back bus conductors with martial arts
Is it not the case that Bus drivers are not allowed to refuse to let a passenger on a bus because he/she has no mask? Any trouble and police must be called. I have no sympathy for that driver.
Right or wrong ? Is it worth the stress of arguing about it , then risking violence with an injury . I work in retail
