Burnley nightclub attack leaves man with broken jaw as CCTV released

Lancashire Constabulary has released CCTV images of a man they want to identify to following an attack at nightclub in Burnley.

Officers were called to Mode Nightclub on Hammerton Street following reports a man had been assaulted. The victim, in his 20s, suffered a broken jaw. The incident happened at around 5.30am on June 17. Following a four-month investigation, police have today released CCTV of a man they want to identify in connection with their investigation.A Burnley and Padiham Police spokesperson said: "Can you help us to identify the man in these images? We want to speak to him in connection with a serious assault in Burnley.

"We were called to Mode Nightclub on Hammerton Street on Friday 17th June after reports a man had been assaulted at around 5.30am. The victim, a man in his 20’s, suffered a broken jaw. "Following extensive enquiries, we would now like your help to identify the man in these images as we believe he may be able to help with our investigation. If you recognise him or have any information, please call 101, quoting the log number 0233 of June 17th.
