The fast food giant has described it as 'The Real Cheeseburger' - however it has divided opinion on social media. Cheese lovers thinking of rushing to their nearest fast food restaurant in Lancashire should hold fire as it is only available in Thailand at the moment.
Unveiling the latest offering on the Burger King Thailand Facebook page, the post said: 'This is no joke. This is for real.'The mega cheese feast is priced 109 Thai baht , but customers can pay to add even more cheese. The burger has made headlines around the world, from America to Australia, NottinghamshireLive reports.
According to US news outlet CNN, a shift manager was overheard saying its Bangkok store had to halt delivery orders so they could save enough Real Cheeseburgers to serve to diners in-store. But some have labelled it gross. One customer said it was an insane amount of cheese and could only finish half of it, while one woman tweeted: "Is Burger King ok?" For now, burgers fans in Nottingham will have to make do with a classic cheeseburger.
