Some of these people on furlough will lose their jobs when the scheme finishes. Unless I’m mistaken the scheme is all about saving jobs! So all this is doing is delaying this.
You can’t keep staff if businesses collapse.. Furlong as long as you want but without the economy opening up and businesses generating revenue there is no point furlonging staff. Crazy economic policy ..
