A new supermarket challenging the prices of big-name retailers is opening in Nottingham. Mohammad Jabarkhyl and his brother Mohammad Ajmal Farid have started their "completely new venture" which will be opening in August.

Mr Jabarkhyl worked at HMP Nottingham before his wife gave birth to their child. He has just recently landed a job as a senior housing advisor at Nottingham City Council but will be helping his brother with administration of the new venture.He said: "Mr brother is the owner and I'm mainly doing admin. It is the first time we've been into this business. We thought it would be the right location for that area, as we do not have this kind of supermarket. There will be a car park.
