The younger brother of Kylian Mbappe has provided an update on whether he will be joining his brother this summer in a potential move to Real Madrid .has confirmed he will depart Paris Saint-Germain this summer when his contract at the Parc des Princes expires and he has declined to pen fresh terms in the French capital. In that time, Mbappe has won the Ligue 1 title six times, but PSG and their mercurial talent have been unable to succeed in the Champions League.
Upon announcing his departure from PSG, Mbappe said: "I have a lot of emotions. Many years where I had the chance and the great honour to be a member of the biggest French club. One of the best in the world, which allowed me to arrive here and have my first experience in a club with a lot of pressure.
"To grow as a player by being alongside some of the best in history. Some of the greatest champions. To meet a lot of people and to grow as a man as well with all the glory and the mistakes I’ve made."It’s hard. I never thought it would be this difficult to announce that I will be leaving my country, France, the Ligue 1, a championship that I have always known, but I think I need this. A new challenge after seven years.
Mbappe's younger brother, Ethan, is also at PSG and has played four times for the first team, having featured more recently for the club's under-19s.The 17-year-old's contract at PSG runs out this summer, just like his brother's, and he would be able to move on to pastures new. The younger Mbappe has been quizzed by PSG supporters on his future as he signed autographs from his car window.Things can of course change in time, but at the moment it seems we shouldn't expect to see two Mbappes being unveiled at the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
