TWO brothers aged just one and four drowned trapped in a car that rolled into a creek after their careless mum left to go shopping, police say.
Hero rescuers lept into the water moments after the car rolled across a grassy verge and plunged into Deer Creek.But the car then submerged completely underwater and was swept away - making it impossible to save the two boys. When she came back out she notched her car was missing - and initial investigations indicate the car had rolled forward into the swollen river.
