Pregnant Brooke Vincent has filmed her final scenes as Sophie Webster as he she leaves the soap to go on maternity leave while preparing to become a first-time mother.
The soap star wrote: “I can’t believe 15 years ago I came onto the street to play 'Sophie Webster' and today I left to play my biggest role yet 'Mummy' my amazing family at Coronation Street I am going to miss you all so much. The actress exclusively announced her pregnancy with OK! magazine, saying she and boyfriend Kean Bryan were “over the moon” over the happy news.
And talking about the baby’s gender, she admitted that she thinks she’s having a boy but won’t find out before the birth.She later added: “I change my mind all the time. My mum and Kean’s mum think I’m having a boy. My skin has always been bad but it was particularly bad at the start and people were saying: ‘It’s a girl, they take away your beauty!’
“We’re both each other’s biggest fans and having a baby together will add an extra bond,” gushed Brooke.
