The artworks will be sold as non-fungible tokens (NFTs), which are unique digital tokens encrypted with an artist's signature verifying its ownership and are permanently attached to the piece.

The artworks will be sold as NFTs - unique digital tokens with artist's signature. The paintings come from a collection left to museum by Robert Wylie Lloyd.

They have been rarely exhibited due to strict orders by Lloyd who died in 1958. Those buying the NFTs at next month's auction will not be allowed to touch them. The unique editions on sale from February 9 will have a starting price of €4,999
