BRITISH EXPATS in Spain are 'panicking' over an October Brexit deadline, a British councillor in the country has told Express.co.uk, adding that Britons have been 'let down'.

Mr Parmenter told Express.co.uk that he knew of some expats who tried to register their intent to exchange their licence but were unsuccessful.“And for whatever reason, they didn't do it on their behalf. So, they're now panicking even though they tried to do it 100 percent correctly.“I've actually had people in my office who said they spoke to their legal representative, who said ‘yeah, we’ll get it sorted’ and it wasn't done.

They should go back to their own country

British immigrants in Spain who voted for Brexit because they didn’t want foreigners living in the UK & didn’t think the same rules would apply to them in Spain, have now found out they do. Hard luck.

They’re immigrants not expats.

Spain make their own laws as we do ours, ex pats chose to live under their laws the UK govt didn’t force them to, so suck it up.

RejoinEU

Probably shouldn't have shot their own feet off with the Brexit vote. I genuinely feel sorry for the sensible ones that didn't.
