The abuser was part of the 2009 Plymouth child abuse case, a paedophile ring involving at least five adults - including George - from different parts of England, which was cracked when one of the abuser's colleagues found child pornography on his laptop. Between late 2008 and early 2009, Vanessa George, Colin Blanchard, and Angela Allen met on Facebook and began sharing indecent images of children.George began taking indecent images of babies and toddlers at the nursery where she worked, and also shared an indecent photograph of her own teenage daughter.
A fifth member of the ring, Tracy Dawber, a care worker from Southport, in Merseyside, was found guilty of one count of sexually abusing a baby in October 2010.pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault by penetration and two counts of sexual assault by touching.
