Britain 'may well' leave the EU without a deal, Health Secretary Matt Hancock has told Sky News

Britain"may well" leave the EU without a deal, Health Secretary Matt Hancock has told Sky News.

He insisted"we've got to get Brexit done" on 31 October, repeating the Conservatives' key message at the start of their party conference in Manchester. The cabinet minister admitted changing his mind on the scenario, having previously said when he was running for the Tory leadership that it was"not a policy option available to the next prime minister".Opposition MPs are sitting in parliament during the Conservative Party conference after the Supreme Court ruled its suspension was unlawful.

The SNP's Drew Hendry told Sky News on Saturday that"the time is fast coming" for opposition MPs to try to oust Mr Johnson in a no-confidence vote.Government whips are on alert for any fast manoeuvres from Labour trying to take advantage of the Conservatives being hundreds of miles away at their annual gathering of party faithful.

"Let's get Brexit done," is the tagline of this year's event and it was a message Mr Hancock was keen to repeat.

Not sure if I class them as stupid or downright dangerous. They've boxed themselves into a corner and the only way out is to shout about getting out with no plan for what comes next. They're putting everything at risk they say they hold precious, fiscal stability and the Union.

Let's move house darling! Ok. Let's sell now! What do u want 2 do once we've sold the house, buy another house or rent? Not sure. 1 bedroom or 3 as the baby's due next year? Don't know. Where do u want 2 live? London or Leeds?Don't know. Shall we just sell the house anyway? Er.Yes

I’ll believe it when I see it, I still remain optimistic. 🤣

Wasting £1 billion a month during every extra month blocking Brexit is a criminal waste of money. We have been preparing to leave since 2016. How can anyone honestly continue to call that a crash out? GetBrexitDone

Let’s hope so

That’s what was voted for ffs!!

Nope - you dont get to choose the opposition do 😉

Getting it done! What nonsense! It’s just the beginning of decades of negotiations

They are liars and they are reckless but why change the habit of a lifetime.
