'If our politics become more European – with mob-like “movements”, fragmentation and chaos – blame the politicians,' writes Tom Welsh

I’ve never felt European. We are a more globally minded people, more likely to emigrate to other English-speaking countries than to France or Spain, and our history would seem to have set us on a different course to those nations that haven’t got over defeat or devastation during the 20th century.

I have always felt European.

Teresa is on her way out the people are pissed at her attitude and the way she has carried on

The thing is, those other English speaking countries don't want us to emigrate there unless we are rich. I'll stick with the likes of France, Spain and Germany. I can identify with them more than with America.

We must hope that Europe doesn’t give in to exasperation with Britain | Andrew RawnsleyA car-crash Brexit is no more in the EU’s interests than it is in those of the UK It doesn't help when politicians resort to rudeness and call the President of France WRECHED as I heard yesterday on LBC I am afraid it has been the case for a long time now. After a sharp, feeling of betrayal when the vote results were made public. Whatever the outcome, things will never be the same again. My generation experienced both the Chunnel success and the Brexit farce. What a waste. They are well used to dealing with ignorant, arrogant fools. Just look at the quality of individual that represents Britain in The European Parliament. Nigel_Farage , GerardBattenMEP NathanGillMEP.
