A FORMER lifeguard was swept to his death after going down a daredevil waterfall in Australia with his girlfriend, an inquest heard.
The 25-year-old was a former lifeguard in Grimsby and was described as a good swimmer, who had taken part in a number of daredevil trips on his travels. At an inquest in Cleethorpes Town Hall, acting senior coroner Mark Kendall concluded that Mr Hunt's death was accidental. The inquest heard that the rainfall had increased the water levels during the afternoon, which was a reason for Mr Hunt's death."Upon entering the water Ms Blair observed the current was really strong and caused her to flip three times before she could resurface.
