Serves him right. Only a complete Idiot would consider doing it again. A great deterent.
Why shouldn't he have the same punishment for the same crime as anyone else would in Singapore?
May be if we done this in this country we would not have a drug problem
Should have got more!!
Ok so what right does the UK or any other country for that matter have In telling people how to regulate their punishments? You do the crime, do that time. Now he played a dangerous game in a strict country. Here he is now.
He won't be doing that again
What people need to learn is the saying..... when in Rome, you get done for drug smuggling or dealing tuff shit, respect the culture and rules etc pretty simple really but some people dont use the brain cell they was born with,
In Britain it would have only been a week gardening. softoncrime
Wonder what their re-offending rates are.....
Good. Maybe he will think twice about doing it again. Their laws of which I am sure he was aware
I live in Malaysia. Malaysia and Singapore make it VERY clear what will happen if you are caught on drug offences. He’s a well educated boy who had been living in Singapore so would have known the consequences. He wouldn’t have worried about selling to our kids!
You go to another country and break the law, you have to bear their punishment!! Simple as!!
Singapore is a very safe country and has been since I used to go in the 70's. They stand for no-nonsense there Crime is virtually unheard of.
He’s selling drugs in another country he will do as they please coz he never should have been doing in the first place
We should take a lesson from them
Should do the same to drug dealers in the UK
I’m singaporean. Kudos to those who understand our situation here. 👍
For every action theres a reaction an consequence!
Serves him right, that's what we need in UK proper punishment
Should deal drugs then
If you can’t win the drug war by attacking the supply then you might have more success going for the demand side. Singapore, might have the right approach.
Posh lad gets caught breaking the law and then thinks he should not be subject to the punishment that’s applies to all.Unlucky mate,a tip for the future is try not to break the laws in the country you are currently residing in
Don’t deal drugs then you won’t get flogged give him a hundred
Oh what a good idea!!!When the UK adopt this punishment I'll do the job!
Can’t do the time don’t do the crime he obviously knew the consequences of getting caught after all he is well educated 🤔
No sympathy it's his own fault
Absolutely no sympathy he deserves what he gets maybe if Uk did the same we wouldn’t have the problems we have
Bit rich considering we hit our own kids.
When travelling i check the do's and dont's of the country And drug dealing is a No in all country's There country there laws
He didn`t have sympathy for the people who would suffer because of the drugs he was distributing in society and was prepared to take the risk to make money. Got caught sentence passed.
🤷♀️ what’s he expect ,nothing to do with being British , that’s the punishment in that country for DRUG DEALING, strip of sunshine take ya punishment 😂
You live in a country you live by the laws of that country. He got caught once and did it again while on bail he must have known the risk.
Great news. More like this.
A smack bottom will teach him the lesson, don't do drugs in other country... 😆😆😆
Yes well l bet he thinks twice next time.
Thank you sir, may I have another?! Punk
He knew the risks
Tough he won't do it again .
Sounds hot
He wouldn’t be receiving corporal punishment if he hadn’t broken the law. UK should be considering it as an option not slamming it.
Dont sell drugs. Pity we dont have it hear. That is their law, so why the hell does the uk have to anything.
The locals probably get a bullet.
I've been to Singapore, its a beautiful and incredibly safe city. I knew before going that even simple things like spitting chewing gum on the street will get you in huge trouble, so I didn't do it. It's not rocket science.
His own fault. No sympathy.
Dealing drugs, no sympathy.
If he is looking for sympathy it sits between sht and syphilis in the dictionary 👍
They know the rules
Good
Don’t do it 🤷♀️
Simple then don't deal drugs!!
Prove he’s British first and if not , well not our problem 😷🤔
Although this may seem barbaric to some, I am sure he knew of the possible consequences of his actions. In the UK we are so lenient that the punishments never act as a deterrent.
Don't be a POS and break the law and you won't pay the piper his due.
What slammed by soft touch Britain where criminals repeat offend again and again because prison on is more like a holiday camp? Good on Singapore no sympathy for drug dealers - should all be hung drawn and quartered
Singapore’s strict laws are clear, you break you face the consequences. The firm laws keep society under control, perhaps something the UK could learn from.
This why UK is f*** in fighting drugs ,knife crime
Gets my vote. Actions have consequences. The Singaporeans approve. Are we again trying to impose our wet liberal views again on a state, in this case that will not tolerate drugs. Clearly the UK’s approach to drugs is a success?
If he was dealing drugs in another country the first thing he should have done was find out the punishment if he got caught. Don’t break the law, don’t get flogged... simple really.
Soft kid!
Poor lad... my arse!
If that’s all he gets he’s a lucky boy. Anyone going there should know that the usual punishment for drugs is death.
Should bring back flogging here. Crime figures would plummet!
Great idea we should do it here deter lots of people
Dont deal in drugs then
Lol 'Brit'... I am so done with civic nationalism and inclusive patriotism.
So thats happened in another country So why the hell does the uk have to say anything Plus he shouldn't sell drugs
Bet he doesn’t do it again
Don’t break the law not every country is as soft as Briton
Brit?
Don't deal drugs 🤷🏻♂️
