Mayor is an ancient useless post often to calm down political nuisance at public cost. Good decesion.

Good for them ans hopefully every town follows suit. A mayor is nothing but a money draining waste of time. Councils have the power and make decisions not mayor's.

Well done Bristol for going back to an archaic, provincial system. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Give it giggsy till the end of the season

should be done in all cities post not needed

And why not - you never know who you are getting and really what-good are they in the round ?

I like the idea of a mayor, but every mayor we've had has been useless idiot (especially Marv) Maybe we'll try again in the future.

These elected mayors are a total waste of money as always and achieve nothing. England needs its own Parliament.

Well done MarvinJRees you were so bad as mayor people actually voted to scrap the whole thing 🤡

Many other cities should follow suit

Best result of the night

Good. Can we get our Arena back now!

Need to do the same for london

More fiddles that an orchestra..... that's Keir_Starmer buddy. More backhanders than Andy Murray.

Mayor, may not.

29% turnout? Big things should require a good set number. Certainly over 51%

Wish they’d do that to Mayor of London 👍
