The family of a "brilliant and lovely" young man who died after suffering an epileptic seizure say they find comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering.
An inquest held on Wednesday at Accrington Town Hall heard that a post mortem failed to find a cause of death but in cases where someone dies after suffering from an epileptic seizure they are more often found lying face down. "If you have been drinking for a long time and given the history of epilepsy, the position in which he was found and the fact it wasn't under control, while I can't be 100 per cent certain, on the balance of probabilities it's likely his death was caused by a seizure and SUDEP," Dr Beardmore added.
