Brighton have confirmed the departures of two long-standing directors as part of a shake-up behind the scenes,submission on Wednesday , Marc Sugarman has become the second director to leave the Amex Stadium this week following Derek Chapman’s exit on Tuesday .
Their departures mark the first boardroom changes for eight years, with Chapman and Sugarman holding their positions on the board since 1999 and 2009. Alongside owner Bloom, Brighton’s board is now made up of non-executive directors Ray Bloom, Robert Comer, Adam Franks, Peter Godfrey and Michelle Walder as well as CEO Paul Barber, COO Paul Mullen and finance director Lee Cooper.Brighton have achieved enormous success since Bloom acquired Dick Knight’s 75 per cent stake in the club in 2009.
