Do the PM's words reveal anything else about her strategy as she battles through the ongoing crisis at Westminster?

Theresa May has written to European Council President Donald Tusk to request a three-month delay to Brexit.

The prime minister has asked to extend the Article 50 negotiating period - used to sort out the UK's departure - until the end of June. But does her letter reveal anything else about Mrs May's strategy as she battles through the ongoing crisis at Westminster?

The country is f***d under the Conservatives .

It points out that she has wasted the last 2 years and would like a little more time to be wasted trying to force through a deal nobody wants

Put in layman terms......HELP

In one word. Treachery.

It's a begging letter praying the EU take a soft approach. Given what's been published of the letter if i was the EU the answer would be a solid NO.

It says how much money do you want for a extension. Pathetic.

Should be a Dear John

theresa_may 'i know I can get this terrible WA through & give eu £39bn for nothing, yes to competitive alignment which will bollox the UK & i agree to the perpetual backstop, eucopresident believe in me, unlike those ungrateful leave voters, who can see right through my lies'

Let’s hope the EU say no to any extension. Then roll on next Friday.

It says please veto this request

Sky News @SkyNewsPMQs: PM to face MPs as she requests Brexit delay This is so tiring... wonder if they will betray the vote to leave again and give her this So 1. How f-ing stroppy is that letter. Its all 'they won't do what I want, its their fault'. Also 2. Is she saying that the EU agreeing to the legal 'changes', which were the reason for MV2 would be cause for MV3 because that's then somehow different?

Flights between UK and EU WILL continue despite Brexit chaos European Parliament confirmsFLIGHTS between the UK and EU will continue to operate despite the current Brexit chaos, the European Parliament has confirmed. As UK MPs in the House of Commons voted to rule out a no deal Brexit under any circumstance on Wednesday, those in the European legal body gave the thumbs up to UK-based flights continuing – as well as the removal of a flight cap. And this again shows EU's generosity, not UK parliament's efficiency.

Does the UK need to hold European elections? If Brexit is delayed beyond 29 March, would the UK need to participate in May's European elections? Won’t be voting if they do 🙄 The UK needs to get rid of many of its MPs, we've managed alright while they have done nothing but mess up brexit for two years, don't need them surely? Expect a dozen Nigel farages to be sent.
