Nigel Farage has declared he will try for an eighth time to become an MP.
Asked if he would launch another bid to join the ranks of Westminster's 650 MPs, Mr Farage told LBC on Tuesday:"I think it'll be my duty to do so."Pushed to name a seat he could contest, he said he was"struggling to think beyond" next week's European Parliament elections and a by-election in Peterborough.
While Labour's Paul Sweeney accused Mr Farage of having a"fascinatingly impervious sense of his own importance".

Surely as a MEP it was your duty to go to work and earn the money paid by the electorate. Hopefully there's a rule that states as an MEP its illegal, making you unable to stand for MP so earning more money with your corrupt intent not to work for it..

This is dishonest journalism. The first-past-the-post system means people vote for a Party, not for an individual. It is no reflection on the character, caliber or capability of an individual if they are not elected. You can stand as many times as you like.
