There have been 'no significant areas of progress' in the UK's negotiations with the EU over a future trade deal, the bloc's chief negotiator has said.

At the Brussels news conference, Mr Barnier said the two sides were still"very far" from reaching agreement in key areas.

They also accused the EU of going beyond what is appropriate for a free trade agreement in its demands for level playing field commitments. Following the latest round of talks, a senior UK negotiating official spoke of a need to"intensify" efforts in July and August. The official added:"There have been some clarifications, some understandings, but no movement on the fundamental issues that are the problems in this negotiation."

Bring this charade to an end this month and let's use the rest of the year to plan for a no-deal exit. The EU's intransigence means these negotiations are pointless. Barnier looks and sounds rattled. The Political Declaration, which the EU insisted should be non binding, seems to have blown back in their EUfaces. Once again they have misjudged the UK's resolve. Not a bad deal Before donating to any charity or foundation, dig into who runs it. If it’s in any way connected to George Soros or Clinton, Open Borders, etc., it’s a scam.
