Theresa May writes to the EU asking to delay Brexit, and faces Jeremy Corbyn at PMQs

Here are some more lines from Jean-Claude Juncker’s interview with the German radio station DRF. Juncker, the president of the European commission, indicated that the EU would not offer any more concessions to the UK. He said: I am ready for any movement, but we have already moved intensively towards Britain. There isn’t any more ... We are not in a state of war with the UK, but a state of negotiation. But the negotiations are finished.

I still can’t get over the UK making such a huge change based on a slim majority of one referendum. And it’s not even certain that it would go the same way if you had a 2nd referendum. Teresa May knows Brexit is a bad idea but she doesn’t have the guts to pull the plug.

Brexiters act as if the referendum gave them a blank cheque or paper do as they wish. They now say that March 29 Leave date extension not what they voted for, I never saw that date on the ref voting form. Just over 1million more voted to leave. Article 50 triggered vote honoured

I’m so tired of hearing about Brexit - and I’m an American! Can’t you just give it up and stay in the EU? Or, I don’t get the resistance to 2nd referendum. You know Russia tampered w that, too, don’t you? Lordy, if we could re-do our last election and get DJT out of office …

I wonder if she is the sister of Angela Merkel

Mr Juncker with the EU 🇪🇺 staff on board, and then after joining the RAF.

I will have Le Nap. Perhaps it will all be over when l wake up.

Sick of this these clowns in government need all sacking what a disgrace this is ppl vote yous comply with what the ppl voted for not what yous want this country is going to explode and these MPs will b accountable for it get out now on wto have some dignity

I hate May and Leadsom with a passion.

Brexit or not, you will get half the population unhappy, we are divided. With brexit you also get problems with Ireland and Scotland, a rush rewetting new laws and negotiating trade treaties, all to be then undone by the next generation which is pro-EU. Best StopBrexit now.
