Brexit was leaving the EU not Europe. Please educate your readers.

To pursue the divorce metaphor a bit, the legal bit is over now, it is up to the two to move on, and if they screw it up, everyone; the kids, both families, themselves, will suffer. If one uses sense, they can build a new life, leaving the other in a mire.

Duh!! No country (of any significance) can disconnect itself from its region. But connect on our own terms and those terms can, and ought to, be friendly with the EU✌🏼
