Breathtaking pictures captured a golden sunset across Greater Manchester on Wednesday evening . The stunning sunset got everyone looking out of their windows or into their gardens this evening as the sky went a lovely burnt orange.

The weather has been hit and miss this week to say the least with today very much being a miss. Overcast conditions and regular drizzle meant for a mainly unpleasant day today. However, the sunset was certainly a sign of better things to come as the forecast is for lots of sun tomorrow.
