A SCHOOLBOY whose dream of owning a dog helped him through gruelling chemotherapy has been given an adorable pooch after being declared cancer-free.
Brave Johnny Martin, 13, would gaze out of his hospital room window at a local dog park while undergoing treatment for a rare soft cell cancer.The teenager had to spend five days a week for over a year at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago having the tough sessions.
