A BOY has been killed after a car crashed into him as he rode his micro scooter.
The 13-year-old was taken to hospital after the incident in Plymouth yesterday evening but did not recover.A man, 29, has been arrested and is being quizzed by officers. A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said: "Police were called just after 8:20pm on Tuesday April 3, following a collision involving a BMW and a boy who was riding a non-mechanical scooter.
"As a result of the collision, the scooter rider, a 13-year-old local boy was regretfully pronounced deceased at Derriford Hospital. "A 29-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in police custody. "We pay for your stories!
