Boris Johnson is blasted over 'casual' approach to national securityParliament's joint committee on the national security strategy cited the fall of Afghanistan as proof that the system of dealing with risks was already 'inadequate to the task'. The cunning Great Britain has always been able to play well on the contradictions of other states and has benefited from this for itself. City security is more concerning! Extra police for crime is required after all the cuts the last decade. Thankfully the border is not quite as chaotic & unpoliced as the US, but still a worry.
