Boris Johnson should publicly declare climate deniers as wrong in order to secure the UK’s standing in vital UN climate talks this year, campaigners have urged, as climate deniers with links to the Tory party prepare for a new battle.

BorisJohnson jumping on the climate change bandwagon is a sensible choice considering that oil is diminishing and good alternatives are still not mainstream. Even if people believe it is untrue, prudence calls that preparation for change is always a good move.

Ultimately, beyond innovation, what the UK does to cut emissions is almost completely inconsequential. Meeting the 2050 target really doesn't matter.
