House Sec RobertJenrick believes MPs have 'sufficient' time to 'pour over the details' of the EU Withdrawal Agreement Bill. He told KayBurley at Breakfast that most MPs 'know where they stand' on Brexit. MPs are beginning a three-day Brexit showdown:

"The public doesn't want any more delays, neither do other European leaders and neither do I. Let's get Brexit done on 31 October and move on."Commons Speaker John Bercow blocks a bid for a 'meaningful vote' on prime minister Boris Johnson's Brexit deal today.

"It is outrageous to deny parliament the chance to scrutinise this incredibly important legislation properly. Ministers are trying to bounce MPs into signing off a Bill that could cause huge damage to our country. We can't trust this prime minister. "We know for example that Commons committee stage of the Treaty of Rome was not three days, or two days, it was 22 days.

"This is an unprecedentedly short period of time to dedicate to a massive and momentous piece of legislation."But Mr Rees-Mogg hit back:"The second reading debate will be the normal second reading debate and will go to seven o'clock tomorrow."

Parliament agreed Letwin amendment because they did not trust boris & they wanted to c the legislation rather than take boris word that it will be ok. He said that to the DUP & look what happened to them. Why is boris making all this fuss? Just bring the legislation to the House.

Simply put, saturday was the day that we decided Brexit can wait, give us our general election.Once we have had a general election Conservatives will be the strongest party,Labour will be the third party. We have seen the road Labour want to travel down and we will be following them

Time for our MPs to put their egos, their political opportunism and their adoration for the unelected EU aside and do as the people instructed three-and-a-half years ago. GetBrexitDone

Oh the fucking irony, Remainers cheering Bercow for not letting MPs vote again on something, and yet demanding a SecondReferendum can't get my breath, I mean how pathetic!!!

The public want a good deal, if he’s so confident in his deal, ask us?

RobertJenrick The section alone on new Customs declaration from NI in to Britain and Visa Versa would take three weeks, the cost to SME’s will put them out of Business. NI relays on SMEs Maggie Thatcher Said Belfast was same as Finchley Don’t Think Finchley need Customs declarations for Hull

RobertJenrick It is not like they normally read the legislation that they vote upon! Brexit Brexitshambles Remain

RobertJenrick But those opposition MPs who may vote with the Govt have been promised things the WAB doesn’t offer - they need the time to pour over the details to find this out - then they’ll come to their senses and stop propping up the Conservative liars.

Grows across Fxxxking Daily Mail's newsroom or inside editor's bedroom Finally. Hungary and Poland need to be the heroes. It is probably possible for remainers to block Brexit, but I suspect wiser heads in the EU must know that we would never be committed partners. We are likely to elect Eurosceptic governments and generally be more trouble than we're worth. Both parties need to get on with life
