Really!!!

Instead of educating British youth he will import outsiders

Whilst leaving the EU and seeing European funding on science projects dwindle, joint research projects end and scientific relationships evaporate. Let's be clear he hasn't a clue and his puppet master Cummings doesn't care about science.

Looks like a former USSR political measure to avoid scientists to fly out of the country! The result was a feudal gap between “special people” and the rest!!!m Boris is just stupid...

Mr Johnson doesn't understand how the scientific community operates. No amount of visa allowances will mean anything without the free flow of collaborative projects, sharing of ideas and skills and the access to sustained funding. Cutting links with EU is wreckless & shortsighted

Will a similar relaxation apply to bankers, entrepreneurs, celebrities, VIPs, politicians? You bet.

How many smart people would come to england just to be called 'privileged elitist globalists' who peddle 'fake news' like global warming or dire economic forecasts about brexit? It's much better working as a scientist in Europe.

Why would skilled people want to move to a xenophobic country at all?

lets go Science Associates wya? AssociateOfScience BBCEarth nature BrotherNature

this is honestly a good thing.

The Independent : should he not be congratulated then ?
