An election is set to be held for new members of the 1922 Committee's executive - nominations close today and the vote will likely be next week. It will be interesting to see how Boris Johnson fills these positions in the coming days given the relatively small pool of non-government MPs who backed him in the recent no-confidence vote.Dominic Grieve, who was attorney general under Theresa May, says the Conservative Party"will be destroyed" if Boris Johnson stays as leader.
