He said he was ‘full of admiration’ for the civil service, which he said ministers ‘depend on’ to implement changes.The PM added: ‘I want to make one thing absolutely clear – I am full of admiration for our civil service and the job that they do. In his statement on Saturday, he said the campaign against him included ‘false’ claims that he had briefed the media against the Home Secretary.
