A CCTV appeal has been launched after stores in Preston, Garstang, Longridge, Lancaster, Carnforth, Chorley and Clitheroe were targeted

Two men are being hunted by police after thousands of pounds worth of champagne and whiskey were stolen from Booths stores across Lancashire.

Police say the bandits targeted stores in Preston, Garstang, Longridge, Lancaster, Carnforth, Chorley and Clitheroe. The offences were mainly committed over a four-day spree between November 16 and 19. Officers have today released CCTV images of two men they want to trace in connection with the thefts. They are appealing for anyone who recognises the men in the images to contact Lancashire Constabulary immediately.In a statement, Lancashire Constabulary said: "Do you recognise these two men? We are asking for your help to trace the pair in connection with the theft of thousands of pounds of drinks from Booths stores in Lancashire.

"The pair have stolen large quantities of champagne and whisky, with them particularly active in the county on November 16th and 19th. Stores in Preston, Garstang, Longridge, Lancaster, Carnforth, Chorley and Clitheroe were targeted. "The offenders were caught on CCTV and we are appealing for anyone who recognises them to contact us. Anyone with information, please email 3595@lancashire.police.uk – quoting log 0464 of November 22, 2022.
