Book of Mormon arrives with risqué show that's not for everyone

The Mormons landed at the Liverpool Empire Theatre this week and are here to stay until Saturday August 13.

The Book of Mormon follows a group of Mormons who are sent to Africa on a mission to spread the word about their faith. With music and lyrics written by Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Robert Lopez embedded into the production, there's plenty of room for laughs, and the audience at the Liverpool Empire theatre certainly did that.

Jacob Yarlet, who's from Liverpool himself, does an absolutely phenomenal job as Elder Cunningham. His sheer talent is what makes Elder Cunningham so loveable, as his character develops throughout the show you're bound to be smiling along the way.
