The body of a man who fled police more than two months ago has been pulled from the bottom of a river with handcuffs still on.
Police launched a manhunt but found no trace of him until a fisherman using a magnet discovered his body in the River Itchen at Southampton’s Riverside Park.Police revealed initial enquiries suggest he had been in the water – next to Woodmill Outdoor Activities Centre – ‘for some time’. The force have not said whether he entered the water to evade police or by accident and said the death is not being treated as suspicious.
He shouldn't have ran away then should he! It should be obvious, that if your hands are cuffed behind your back it will severely impaired your ability to swim.🏊♂️
