BOBBY RYDELL has died aged 79, it has been confirmed.

He went on to sign a record contract which saw him tour with The Everly Brothers, the Champs, and Marv Johnson, among others.The singer went from strength to strength and his subsequent releases including Wild One and Volare also sold over a million records.
