Rachel Starritt is a blind pianist who has a remarkable ability to learn complex pieces by ear and memorise them for performances. She spoke to adavies4 ahead of performing at an international festival in Japan headlined by Katy Perry.

When pianist Rachel Starritt was asked to take part in a concert in Tokyo this weekend headlined by Katy Perry she jumped at the chance.

Rachel, who is blind after being born prematurely, and also has Asperger syndrome, has a remarkable ability to learn complex pieces by ear and quickly memorise them for performances.
