The BBC has given us a sneak peek into the second episode of Beyond Paradise, the spin-off show from Death In Paradise. The show focuses on DI Humphrey Goodman, who has relocated to the peaceful town of Shipton Abbott with his future wife, Martha.
In the heart-warming scene, Esther's daughter shares her personal experiences and encourages Anne to "try before you buy", after confessing she fell in love with her late husband in an instant. That's when Esther's daughter Zoe advises Anne to "ghost" her admirer. "Ghost him and move on. Don't reply. Sooner or later, he'll get the hint you're not interested. That's ghosting," she says, to which Anne says: "That seems a bit mean."
As links to the woman's deceased granddad come to light, it seems like things are becoming clearer for Humphrey and his team. Meanwhile, Humphrey and Martha remain steadfast in their desire to become foster parents, which distracts the already busy detective.
