A number of Lancashire and Cumbrian curry houses have been celebrated for their cuisine as the finalists for the 11th English Curry Awards have been revealed.
Among those shortlisted for restaurant of the year are Aroma Asian Restaurant in Burnley, Lakeland Spice Cuisine in Keswick, and Maryport Tandoori. A spokesperson from the event organiser, Oceanic Consulting said: “The curry campaign has been hugely successful across the UK with Scottish, English and London editions to the awards. The English Curry Awards were one of our first and remain one of our best awards.
