It's not hard to see why this beach was named Yorkshire's best as it boasts a charming promenade, stunning views, and a five-mile stretch of sand

Yorkshire is home to an array of remarkable coastal areas, of which Filey was named the best beach in the region last year. With a delightful promenade, panoramic vistas, and an inviting five-mile-long sandy strip, it comes as no surprise that this spot appeals to many.

One reviewer, Jacqui S, was full of praise for Filey Beach, labelling it as "glorious". She elaborated: "Glorious to walk down to the coast from the centre of town and see the expanse of coastline and just watch the world go by. A lovely area and plenty to see and do.", reports Leeds Live.. He noted, "At this time of year, not much was open however we made the most of the beach. Disabled bays close by seem to have disappeared or have a very limited time. A gorgeous beach."
