Senator Bernie Sanders has argued for the necessity of his resolution opposing a US sale of weapons to Israel, which he is expected to introduce today. “I believe that the United States must help lead the way to a peaceful and prosperous future for both Israelis and Palestinians,” the progressive senator said on Twitter in response to a story about his planned resolution.

I don't know why we're giving money to Israel, they seem to be doing alright without the funds. I don't want my tax dollars going to a nation that only uses it to take more land and destroy the other people living on that land as well. We shouldn't choose sides.
