A Belfast woman has warned others about travelling to Turkey for medical procedures after her "life was destroyed" by a gastric sleeve operation that left her with "three stomachs".
A full-time carer for her husband following an injury, she says that she "became desperate" after gaining weight due to stress and at the time of her operation weighed 20 stone. "However, once it had finished my problems started straight away when I woke up 40 minutes after it was completed in the worst pain of my entire life, and I have had four children naturally.
"Scans have shown me that my stomach has now been manipulated in three separate blobs due to the surgery and it looks nothing like a gastric band is supposed to. I have been told that this is a result of the instruments used during the surgery and while they are allowed in Turkey, they would not be allowed in our health service.

There's a trend of them coming back home expecting the NHS to sort out their botched boob jobs, hair transplants, etc.. they should have to pay for any treatment of side effects at home.
